Who
After decades of international business and growing several start-ups in the food industry , Erwin and Florenzo decided a few years ago to join forces and bring their expertise together. Combining their knowhow, they started a company that successfully developed healthier food products for third parties (e.g. HighKey). From there the idea arose to set up their own new healthy food brand.
During the marketing study it became clear that healthier food alternatives are more embraced within e-commerce than in traditional retail. When thinking of online sales, you quickly end up with the large well-known (global) e-commerce platforms. These platforms have a huge reach but no specialisation, especially when it comes to food. And, none of them focus on supporting resellers in any material manner. Erwin and Florenzo experienced this first-hand when they wanted to start selling their own products via these platforms. Instead, they decided to offer their products to local online stores throughout Europe and started looking for an experienced distribution channel for e-commerce. What followed turned out to be the start of FoodConnX.
Distributors and wholesalers have been around for decades and are indispensable in the food industry. Finding one with experience and dedication to e-commerce proved more than a challenge. If you can find someone that does something in the e-commerce channel, they usually do it as an extra in addition to traditional retail and only locally. This is why Erwin and Florenzo decided to fill the gap themselves and started FoodConnX.

FAQ
Our service is focused on B2B and therefore we need to make sure you’re a registered company. When the application is approved you can log in. When logged in all products and prices (excl. VAT) will become available on the website and you can place your order.
Your order will be picked at our fulfilment center and forwarded as 1 shipment to the indicated delivery address. The order will be delivered by our logistics partner on 1 or more pallets, depending on the order quantity.
We deliver through whole of Europe.
When all products are in stock, your order will be delivered within one working week.
All products have a shelf life of at least 6 months, unless otherwise stated on our website.
The delivery costs are depending on the combination of your order quantity and to which country we have to deliver.
We offer the most common payment methods such as CreditCard (Visa, MasterCard, American Express), PayPal, iDeal, Bancontact, Giropay, Przelewy24, Cartes Bancaires, ApplePay, etc.
Payments are processed digitally and must be paid before completing the order.
Advance payments ensures that we as a company can be lean, meaning we can offer you products for the best prices.
We are currently developing an online environment from which you as a customer can download all required product information.
